Eligible occupation for open work permit-:
You may be eligible for open work permit if you fall under following categories-:
· International students
International students who graduated from a designated learning institution and are eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit , which allows them to work for at least three years if they completed at least two years study program. Study permits longer than 8 months and shorter than 2 years may be eligible for PGWP that matches the length of their stay.
· Student who’s no longer able to meet the costs of your studies (destitute student)
· Have an employer-specific work permit and are being abused or at risk of being abused in relation to your job in Canada
· Applied for permanent residence in Canada
· Dependent family member of someone who applied for permanent residence
· Spouse or common-law partner of a skilled worker or international student
· Spouse or common-law partner of an applicant of the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
· Refugee, refugee claimant, protected person, or their family member
· Under an unenforceable removal order
· Temporary resident permit holder
· Young worker participating in special program
